All of his Ali's controversial decisions didn't just come after '67, they all came when Ali was a shadow of his former self. Most of those so called controversial decisions being overstated because of Ali's stature, of course. Pre-exile Ali wins by decision, and post-exile wins by knockout.
No, as I said: Post-Manilla Ali. It's kind of annoying that that version of Ali is even mentioned in hypothetical h2h match-ups prime for prime.
Dude, youtube don't mean ****. Think about this ONE PUNCH KO's. All it took was one punch to ko lewis. Lewis would be dominated.
And it is no myth. He had a suspect chin it was right there in front of us to all see. You are asking me to do my homework. The homework has been done.
your not very good at this are you, lewis has been down alot less than many other atg fighters and has been in with more heavy punchers than pretty much any other heavyweight. His chin was not suspect only someone who is a hater like zackman or fool would say he was weak chinned.:-(
i think he would give it a good go, neither of them would have fought anyone simular to the other, it has always been one of the more intresting atg matchups.
I agree, Lennox size is the one key factor in these H2H matches that often throws people off in these fights. (Advantage) A Prime Bowe matchup could have given us a distorted example of how an older Zaire' Ali might have looked Vs. Lewis style wise. (Kind of...Too bad it never happened) Ali had the ability to dodge and turn with alot of power shots, tho in the end as his reflexes diminished he did take alot of punches aswell tho his uncanny ability to take a shot was always there. When it comes to the ability to give and take equal punishment Ali wins Lewis hands down.
i think a prime ali would outbox lewis for a ud but as the years went on i think lewis chances get better and better, i think lewis could maybe even stop a mid to late 70's ali.
