How so? Holmes has been knocked out before. As in down for the count. Frazier hasn't.

Lewis staying on his feet against Ringo, when Chuvalo himself couldn't? Yup definitely.

He kept getting up against Foreman but he was clearly out on his feet, like Patterson against Johansson.

Holmes was only stopped once, by Tyson when he was finished. Frazier was stopped twice by Foreman ,once by Ali, dropped twice by Bonavena, and once by Mike Bruce. You don't think Foreman would have sent Frazier down for the count if Mercante hadn't rescued him? Big George was the only top puncher Frazier fought, he used Joe as a yo yo.
Holmes came back from a monster right hand from Shavers and beat him! No way Frazier would have!

Came back and beat Bonavena. Green when fighting Bruce, but still came back to win. With Ali, eyes swollen. Not good arguments. Renaldo Snipes put Holmes down, but Holmes came back. Holmes, because of his style, never took the shots Frazier took.

Frazier fought harder punchers. Also you didn't list the men who knocked Holmes down like you did Frazier. Don't worry, I'll save you the trouble. :good He was knocked down by Renaldo Snipes, Earnie Shavers, Mike Weaver, and Tyson. Tyson had Holmes down for the count. Foreman couldn't do that to Frazier. I don't think he would've ever had Frazier down for the count. Frazier would've kept getting up.
Also the Bruce knockdown is a myth. He received a standing eight count. In scoring it's considered a knockdown.

Prime Ali would have boxed circles around plodding Lennox.

what type of drugs are you on man. Foreman would have either knocked Frazier down or killed him trying. One thing you seem to be completely obvious to, which as a "supposedly former boxer" I find it surprising, is that you aren't in complete control of whether or not you get knocked out.

Sometime the lights just go out. It's not only a question of will power as you seem to believe it is.

He may have been a plodder at 245 but he damn sure wasn't when he was 225. Watch the Ruddock fight and see how much of a plodder he was. Ali likely wins, but a Lewis win certainly isn't out of the question.

The conditions during that fight were brutal. Frazier was quoted as saying it was 120-125 degrees in the ring. In other words.....brutally hot and humid. Add to this it was a 15 round fight a distance Lewis certainly was not used to fighting. I don't see many hwts in that brutal of a battle over 15 rounds having the fortitude of coming out on top. Lewis was also koed twice by pretty much single blows. That Ali certainly beats Lewis probably by stoppage late. Ali was in tremendous condition that night. If Joe was not stopped early he would have gotten to Lewis late. Lewis whiskers was not the best.

Double. Could not be more wrong. Ali did not train for Wepner. Ali won just about every round against Bugner. It's tough to look good fighting someone there to survive. Ali was in incredible shape for that fight that night in 75 vs Frazier. It was a 15 round bout Lewis never fought a 15 round fight. The difference between going 12 vs 15 rounds is huge. So the advantage is with Ali and Frazier who were used to fighting at a high rate over 15 long rounds. Finally Lewis was koed TWICE by single blows by far less of fighters. Over 15 rounds in that heat Lewis was more likely to fold not Ali or Frazier.
