Could Loma-Walters produce the same drama we saw in Kovalev-Ward? Plus, Loma vs Walters media day.

I like Walters, I think he's a very good fighter has a good skillet and wicked power. This will certainly be Lomas biggest test thus far in his short pro career. I can't wait!!

btw, why don't you like Loma? I'd say most of your posts are actually bashing him.

Possibly I predicted Ward/Loma easily outboxing Kova/Walters, obviously Ward didnt easily outbox Kov.

I rate Walters, but I don't think he's at the same level as Kovalev.

Google translation of an interview -

Interviewer: How did you feel about the defeat?

Lomachenko: Painfully. Personally I do not like to lose. This is probably an innate quality. I was born to win and every loss, even if you take a school, kindergarten, some competitions, if I'm somewhere I lose, I'm insulting and unpleasant, that someone is better than me. It's loud, of course, it sounds that I was born to win. But already I was born with this feeling inside. I was born to compete. And if I lose, I'm upset. So I said that I was born to win. Only when I win, I feel comfortable.

Just walk through everything he has to offer Walters. He can't punch, and he only has a right hand. His straight left is garbage. You Duran Leonard 1 his ass and feel no pain. Don't let him clinch you and when he does you rabbit punch, punch low and do anything to get him not to clinch. Get him to trade. Talk to him. Call him a *****. Talk about his mother. Tell him you want a war and beat his mother****en ass. He has no ****en left hand at all. He's one armed. He is a former LW who shrunk down to 126 and went back up to 130. Mike him use energy and **** his ass up. War Walters!!!

I re-watched Walters fight with Donaire a couple days ago to remind me of his overall style. He'll have the physical advantages against Lomachenko so he better try to utilize his reach advantage by throwing that jab out there a lot. I don't know though, Loma looks the part of a really great fighter so I don't know if Walters could beat him solely by fighting him from the outside. He'll probably have to make it a bit dirty in there and try to keep in Loma's chest for good portions of the fight. From what I've seen of Nicolas, he's a pretty good inside fighter. He'll have to try to push around Loma in tight quarters and make it a nasty fight in order to beat him.

I hope it's a good fight, but more than likely I see Vasyl giving him a boxing lesson. I think Walters' inactivity might really hurt him in this one. He probably should've had a tune-up beforehand to shake some of the ring rust off before taking on an elite fighter like Lomachenko.

You Loma fans are scared. You talked the talk. You called this man greedy, a coward as if Loma was some ****en cash cow. **** Loma. For this fight i want Walters to beat his mother****en ass. I'm tired of his ****en fans talking ****. After this it'll be two down and one coward to go. And we know that GG the 35 year old is looking for a soft touch. ****en Froch at 168. *****. War Walters...!!!

I really think that this is a toss up fight but if I were to look for an edge, that edge would go to Loma because he is a gifted southpaw.
