I used to think so BUT A 135 Molina dropped & hurt Lucaz plenty of times...

    Could he beat guys like...

    Guerrero
    Maidana
    Alexander
    Porter

Of course. Even tho he's a small dude he got robbed vs Judah, Alexander, and deserved a draw with Garcia. If Alexander and Judah had some success so can Lucas.

    Um no.

Thurman would knock this dude out in 2 rounds tops.

The dude was dropped twice and buzzed 15 times by John Molina.

Lucas, needs to stay where he's at...147 would be catastrophic for his career...he's struggling against guys in his weight class. Going up would be all wrong for him.

Don't like the way he reacted to punches last night.

But perhaps it was part due to inactivity, we'll see. I think he should stay at 140lbs for now, and hunt for a Garcia rematch, if possible.

He's a very strong guy with pop in each hand, but his overall boxing skills are average at best. He's a pretty good combination puncher but his jab is slow, average and predictable as far as timing goes.

He also lunges in a lot to start his combination punching, almost like he's bumrushing his opposition. Any good counterpuncher would be able to do some serious damage on him.

He's also around 5 "6 so he wouldn't be the biggest guy at WW . I'd love to see him fight Porter, that would be a helluva matchup. I think Thurman, Pacman and FLoyd would beat him though.

He does lunge a lot, but his jab is the best punch he's got imo.

Specifically his jab to the body, that's a gamechanger. Well, it changed Molina, if that says anything.
