Could Lucian Bute have already hit his prime and slowly be edging past it...

    Maybe you prefer watching Ward with the same bums.
    Ward-Miranda was one of the most boring fight that I have seen. It was a festival of one punch-clinch.
    don't forget that the toughest fight for Ward was with Bika who was not aS6 fighter, another bum that Bute dominated just after Calzaghe.

    and Ward-Green, what a great fight; I think that Mcgee and Brinkley has little more heart than Green.
    Buté is now at his peak, Ward, maybe thinks the same thing; it's the reason why he will prefer this fall go with Kessler and I will not be surprise if he pass just after in another division.

    Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his personal tournament. Ward was the only boxer who never had to travel. Why was that? Why doesn't Showtime force SOB to fight Bute? Ward will never fight Bute, perhaps when Bute is really old. Ward is waiting for that, in the meantime Ward will fight has beens and the unknown.

    Right, because Brinkley, Magee, Mendy were all elite blockbuster mega fights.

    he has never had trouble making weight, he has a nutrisanist that follows him around to make sure he does not have to go trugh last minut weight lost, and also controle his muscle growth, but i do agree that if this no offers ever being made to bute keeps up mush longer it will become a factor

    No. He is at that age where he has gained an optimal level of experience and has seasoned his craft, but has yet to begin deteriorating due to age. Stop making excuses for the guy for a loss he doesn't even have yet.

    Green is nothing special at this point but he would completely **** up mcgee and brinkley. Ward's reputation is being built against better fighters than Bika. Bika is just another b level contender alum. I'm here to **** on Bute not debate Ward's superior accomplishments.
