Could Luis Ortiz clean out the heavyweight division if given the chance?

Suppose every heavyweight was forced to fight Luis Ortiz, would King Kong Luis Ortiz wipe out all the heavyweights?

He has the power and very good defense for a big guy. Bad technique in other fighters is his strength and his connect percentage is excellent.
He can beat 95% of the division with the flu.

I would favor him against anyone not named Tyson or Wlad. But even those two I'd put it at even. As for cleaning out the division? I think he'd be a shot fighter before he made it through the top 10. But he would have stacked up a great resume before losing in the attempt.

No. He's a boogeyman who hasn't proved anything that most other top Heavyweights haven't- other than postive for steroids that is.

Give him a steroid test and if he passes, put him in with a Joshua, Klitschko, Fury, Parker, Haye, Povetkin, Pulev and his reputation as this fearsome destroyer will be about where Iiunga Makabu and Ismal Barraso are now.

Well if he's fighting for Matchroon now, you lose your licence with the BBBoC for at least 2 years, so if he gets caught again, at his age, that's his career done and dusted.

He definitely could. But I wouldn't be that surprised to see him stopped by guys like Povetkin or Wilder either.

Fair chance of doing it. But not a sure thing.

Ortiz and clean in the same sentence sounds weird to me already.

But he could become the man in the division given the chance. But a couple of others can too, and if indeed it would be him, I don't expect a long reign due to his age and history.

Fury isn't popular in Britain at all. The vast majority of the country think he's a buffoon.

Ortiz isn't popular in Britain, in fact, nor is Fury

Yes, he can, but he needs the matches now, not when he's 40
