PBF is at home on the ropes he makes guys like Ortiz look amateurish there. Ortiz had PBF against the ropes and couldn't land anything of note it's demoralizing to a fighter when you have a guy against the ropes and don't land Ortiz at that point knew he was beat got frustrated with PBF laughing at him and headbutted him.
Back to Maidana he's much slower than Ortiz and has shorter arms and less explosive. He can hit hard but it's usually with a wind up punch not a straight one. PBF doesn't have to run to beat Maidana he can circle him or just fight him on the outside Maidana will have no answer for this.

 

why do i want to watch broner highlights when broner executes something poorly that floyd has mastered

 

At least Maidana will go for it for 12 rounds...he may not have the technical abilities of Canelo but he'll actually go at Floyd like a terrier...he'll try his damn best to do something, all we can hope is that something works and shocks everyone...can he do that? Unlikely but it's boxing, anything can happen. FMJ was impressive over Canelo simply because he didn't approach the fight the way he should have not because he was so good. It was an average performance from FMJ, it was just a very bad night for Canelo

i dont think theres much of a reach difference between maidana and ortiz..maybe an inch....but ortiz has a couple inches in height and to me just looked bigger than madaina does.....i do agree though...i think vics punches are straighter

It was a bad night for Canelo because PBF made it a bad night for him. PBF took away everything Canelo had and left him dry. Put Canelo in there with someone else that night not named PBF and he wins.

 

i thought the guys original point of him posting that clip was that floyd wasnt "brilliant" against the ropes....even in that clip nothing was landed against him even after he caught a big shot...lol

 

I agree. He took that away from Mosley after getting hit with it in the second round of their fight. Mosley tried to throw it later in the fight but had no success.

 

its always oscar stopped jabbing....shane gassed out after 2 rounds...canelo had the wrong gameplan or stopped fighting.....

the same thing will prob happen to maidana....theyll expect him to come hard for 12 rounds like a "terrier"....but at a certain point when hes eating lead rights and counters....hell slow down too.....hell start thinking too much and get gunshy like alot of guys do later in fights agaisnt floyd

Yep and then they'll say Maidana didn't show up he didn't even punch he just wanted a check or he was distracted by his newborn baby or was never good to begin with. What they fail to realize is that it's PBF neutralizing people and shutting their offense down.

Its gonna be the Hatton fight over again, which should do something for Floyds marketability, he needs a tear-up rather than a clinic. He is so good he has almost made it boring.
