I just think that it depends on how you measure "better" - Like I say, I personally believe that Floyd has the best boxing skills in the business today.

I would still rank Pac ahead of him P4P based on accomplishment.

When Pacquiao and Barrera fought in 2003, who do you personally believe had better boxing skills?

Dude - Relax, I see where you're coming from and understand your point.

Barerra, a super high level skill fighter - Is not Floyd Mayweather.

Personally, in my opinion, and irrespective of *****'s or *******s opions, I doomeddisciple, think that Floyd has the most complete skillset in the game.

Would I pick Floyd over Kelly Pavlik should they fight tomorrow - Probably not - But I would still think that Floyd was the more skilled of the two.

can somebody please explain to me what on earth is slick about andre berto? does he simply qualify for this tag due to the colour of his skin? he is a clumsy, rough and tumble nobody. pacman would smash him into the middle of next week.

pac also is a sexist as he hasn't beaten any women boxer.

that definitely will affect his legacy as the mayweathers have that in their resume.

This is unbelievable.More than 100 replies to this thread and there are less than 20 good responses. This is not a site for legitimate discussion. This place is full of sensitive people who can't recall more than 10 fights.Who amongst you has seen Sugar Ray Robinson fight?Carmen Basilio?Wille Pep?Ezra Charles the original Roy Jones Jr.?I would say very few of you. This thread was not meant for anyone who hasn't seen at least 100 fights. It seems to be dominated by people who have only seen a handful of fights from their favorite fighter and maybe a few others. This thread is legitimate and not racist nor was it meant to incite racism or resentment. My opinion was left out and I wanted to see what others on this particular site thought.Everyone I know says it would be stupid for Manny to retire without fighting an Afrian-American no matter who he chose it to be.It would be sort of like a gap in his record or an incomplete resume. That is all for this one,you guys are crazy and I have to get ready for my nutty job.:hi:

African-American's usually have a particular style that most intelligent people know gives Pacquiao trouble. Pacman's resume cannot be complete without facing Mayweather or at least Bradley.

You are all over the place. What gap? An African-American gap? Well if that is the only qualification then yes, the question is racial because that is the only definition and explanation you brought. So don't blame others for being racist.

Others have already addressed that code for 'slick' boxers.

The most feared attribute in all of boxing. No wonder Manny's running scared.

While I do not disagree with you about counter punchers vs Pac, why not just say defensive specialist. What is the point of stating "African-American" as a qualifier?
That is like saying Satchel Paige never met a white American slugger so his greatness is in question.

And what does race have to say about 'completeness' of ones resume? Are there not arguments about SRR having a lack of elite slick black fighters in his resume? Is his resume 'incomplete'?

It is a basic question that is unfortunately wrapped in stupidity by people with limited view of the world.

you and your friends are dumb then.. I want you to go back and think about the top fighters in each weight class that manny has fought in while he was in that weight class . Nate Campbell was the only african American fghter that really was around the top of a weight class that manny was in ( for 1 fight )

This thread Is stupid, we have heard in the past that Manny avoids black fighters , he completely shuts down and destroys a huge black welter weight in Clottey , but aparently he needs to fight a black fighter from the US ?

I am pretty sure he is trying to make a fight with the best African American fighter in recent years ... One who enjoys putting up hurdles / excuses when it comes to fighting anyone who is a real challenge. Manny agreed to the 14 day Floyd deal , no word from the mayweather camp .. Only from his half ******ed dad saying Floyd will never fight pacquaio.

But marquez was out gunned by pac in all those departments with the exception of SKILL of course! You saw how those two fights were close, Imagine what floyd would do to pac! SERIOUSLY, Im a pac fan as well. Im just realistic
