Could Manny retire without facing an African American?

While it's true that a large majority of the very, very best boxers in history have been african-american, Pac does not have to beat an african-american to secure his legacy. He's been facing some of the best opposition out there in his era, regardless of their race/origin. Lil Floyd refusing to fight him is not Pacs fault either.

he can but his naysayers will say he never fought those type of fighters.people can say all they want it does not matter of the reace or culture.but its fact that every race damn near have there own style in boxing.most african american fighters are slick, with head movment, speed and use angles when fighting.

mexican fighters come to bang, they have heart and good chins.euro fighters straight up in and down, no special effets.power, average speed, decent head movment.

putorican fighters are a mixture of african american fighters and mexican fighters.

now you have fighters in all races that dont fight in there stereo type of form.now manny can retire without an african american fight if he fights a fighter with that similar style i think.im not that picky, floyd as never fought a pinoy !

You also have to bear in mind that he fought the majority of his career in weight divisions where there are arnt many African American fighters.

Bradley, Alexander, Mayweather, Berto, Mosley, just to name a few. Not saying i endorse the thread but there are guys out there who he could fight but apparantly won't. Not saying these cats would beat him either, but it was asked so here are a few.

 

The more pressing issue is if Ivan Calderon will retire without facing a Klitschko.
