Moore won 9 rounds against Henry. Film of Valdes in their first fight shows Moore handling him expertly. Both guys got creamed by Moore. Baker was stopped by Moore. So he got creamed too.

Come on then, you don’t think Moore beats some of Tyson’s guys? Moore can’t beat Tucker? Moore can’t beat Tubbs? How about Larrys guys? Moore can’t beat Snipes? Or Berbick? Lennox was walloped by McCall. Moore can’t beat McCall?

Alternatively do all those guys beat Valdes, Henry or Baker?

    Moore stands up at heavyweight.

    Says who?

Charles Martin and a selection of other blimps like Lucas Browne have held belts in other eras.

As usual it’s only nonsense when you cannot disagree with my points.

I know you believe Moore was better than most heavyweight challengers and some later belt holders.

So you think Moore could never beat any of the other challengers from history who challenged champions like Tyson, Lewis, Holmes, Ali and Foreman?

And you don’t believe Archie Moore was ever a legitimate heavyweight contender even though he beat strong #1 and #2 heavyweight contenders?

    This is your original statement.

" Beating the guys he did in the order he did shows that he was a serious threat to any HW title in any era. "

    Note the underlined!
Why do you continually , compulsively alter ,dilute, spin and deviously change the goalposts ?
    It's blatant deceit!
    Do you think nobody notices?

It's quite possible that Moore would not be competitive today but what of it? I don't think Ali's competition would be able to thrive in later eras either. They would be too small for skilled super heavies like Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali, and Anthony Joshua. Foreman would be giving away 30 pounds against Joshua and 3 inches in height.

"Two wrongs do not make a right".The original statement is what several took issue with.Ali's competition is irrelevant to it.
ps I pick Foreman to beat Wlad,Vitali, and AJ, Ali would too!imo

When did Foreman fight a skilled opponent with such a huge size advantage. Were talking 30 pounds, 3+ inches in height. Foreman is used to being the bigger, stronger man. How is he going to respond to suddenly being outmuscled and tossed around like a ragdoll? I think a major factor in why Foreman looked so scary in the 70s was because of his physical advantages being the stronger, harder punching man. That's not the case today.
