No, but I think it is very naive so say that all that Holmes has to do is stick his jab in Marcioano's face, and Marciano will meekly sit there and allow himself to be taken apart.

You are almost making Marciano out to be some sort of club fighter here.

Shavers caught a prime Holmes with a nice knockdown. I think if Shavers can catch Holmes with a punch like that, I like Rocky's chances of landing his bruising punches as well.

If Holmes has trouble with guys Mike Weaver and Earnie Shavers I just think that he would have trouble with Marciano. Marciano was tougher and a much better puncher than either if those. His style was impetuous and his defense was impregnable. He was ferocious!

Rocky would be even harder to hit by a much taller Holmes. Rocky didn't fight big he fought small. That is what made him champ.

Holmes beat plenty of punchers but that doesn't mean he didn't have trouble. Marciano as you say had trouble with Walcott, Moore, and Charles but he was undefeated. Beat everyone they put in front of him.

Tell me how many guys off of that list that Holmes had an easy time with.
