He'd easily make 175 without being too drained with water manipulation, many LHWs today are his size, maybe he could even make 160, we have plenty of natural 180lbers at 160-168 today who use saunas, water manipulation and diuretics to cut weight and put it back on after the weigh in

If he could have lord help whoever he was fighting he would have probably killed someone at that weight if he was comfortable. It would have been savage.

Maybe with the big window between weigh in and fight night, but he would still struggle. He killed himself to get to 185ish.

I would say there is a very large racial element involved when it comes to rating Marciano, his competition and his all time ranking ...

if i had to guess, marciano could have only made 175 if he had today's day before weigh-ins and was able to rehydrate. more than a few light heavys today weigh around 185 when they get in the ring.

160? Good lord, why even talk out of your ass. I don't think Marciano weighed anywhere near 160 since high school.

Yes , Marchegiano weighed in as low as 178 without even needing 2 weigh that low . Like I already stated in d past he could have made a 170 and fight Chito Trinidad 4 a silver belt .

I do not see Marciano weighing that light ... he seemed extremely lean at 185 - 188 .. did not appear to have an ounce of fat on him ... He was what he was , a rock solid 188 pound killer ...

What I'm thinking as well. He could make 175 on the scales, but come fight time, he'd be about 185. But only with the 24 hour weigh-in thing.

Same day weigh-ins? Yikes...he'd be drained as heck.

They do hellish things with same-day-weigh ins. Abraham came to the ring at 180 when he made it in at 160 the day before. I would guess with his discipline Rocky could take off that weight without to much trouble.

It must be diuretics that allow fighters to dry out like that. I think they're legal, although I'm not sure. Crazy stuff.
