Could Marciano Have Stopped Holmes Getting To 49-0??

    This isn’t true at all. Louis Walcott Charles and Moore had all time jabs. Larry’s was probably slightly better overall but let’s not pretend he never went in with a good jabber and mover. If the terrible Shavers almost killed prime Holmes. I can’t imagine what Marciano would do to an aging Holmes. It would be a systemic brutal beat down of any version of Holmes

    If Holmes's only plan was to stick a jab in Marciano's face, then he would have lost before the opening bell, prime or past prime.
