Well someone is wrapping things around your hands, you are bound to notice. Trainer usually asks you throughout how does that feel too. Only way he didnt know is if the trainer made out that pad was legal and part of the wrap. He was definitely aware of those pads being there though. That said, I find it hard to believe that a world class pro boxer doesnt know whats legal and not regarding what can be put in the wrap.
