Could Margarito have been innocent?

Margs is guilty. He let his trainer wraps his hands. There's no way that you can not know what is being put into your wraps...sorry! AM didn't get a chance to cheat, and he's paid the price...except one thing. Arum doesn't let his fighters fight anyone outside the stable so Margs stands to make money even after getting the **** beat out of him...damn Shame!!!

He is not innocent.

 

Could I have not really been responsible for my former girlfriend's sister's pregnancy? I suppose, but it's a little late to be asking **** like that now, isn't it?

 

Obviously never say never and all that, but I voted that he must have known what was going on.

 

It is possible that he didn't know that Capetillo put the inserts in his wraps, I'm not entirely convinced that he didn't but it's possible.

The real problem in looking at the issue is that Margarito was coming off of the best win of his career after pummeling Cotto and giving him his first loss. That makes people skeptical but it isn't out of the question that he beat Cotto fairly and was just better that night - however the manner in which he won would have people questioning whether it was fair or not - that is the problem you have if you defy the odds like that, people need an explaination for it.

I don't know if he's innocent or not...it's possible that he is innocent but I'm still not sure. Only Margarito will ever really know the truth.

 

It depends on how long it was going on really. If it had been going on for a long time then I can't fathom that he's innocent, if Capetillo paniced just before the Mosely fight and tried the inserts as one act of desperation that I can believe it's possible that Margarito didn't know.

 

Margarito is NOT innocent. Second, he didn't get a chance to cheat. What gets people is that he tried. Will he try again? We don't know. That is where the anger is... Nobody picked on AM for no reason. There didn't even have to be evidence of plaster use either for AM to be gulity.

 

yeah if he actually acted like a man and admitted his c heating he probably wouldnt be going through all of this struggle to get his liscense back.
