It was a sharp punch unseen by its victim. Williams gets hit a lot but usually at least sees what's coming his way. When asked about the KO all he had to say was "I didn't see it". Margarito is just as easy to hit if not more so, and isn't anywhere near as perceptive about inbound missiles. Again - if Mosley could beat him up and knock him out at 147, Sergio in his current form could almost certainly do it at 154 or 160 (both of which would be immensely stupid ideas for Margarito, outside of being paydays).
Margo would have laughed at that shot in the middle of the 2nd round because the fight had barely started. However, if he eats a couple dozen of those it could be lights out.
Shane showed it was possible to KO Marg, Pac could have if he wasn't such a good sport, and as already said, the right punch will KO anyone.
I agree with your analysis. But Margarito punches back and very very hard, harder than P-WILL. ANd tough i think you might be right i think Margartos body work will sap Martinez strength.It will a gruelling trench warfare kind of a fight IMO.
That would be a death match. Even if he didnt do it in one punch, Margo would get tortured and ultimately stopped by Sergio.
the thing with margo vs. mosely IMO was he was already beaten knowin the fact he was in deep shizzz with the hand wraps thing before the fight. this would be a good fight margo would be super confident knowin he stopped martinez (i know it was awhile back, but still)
