Could Mayweather-Garcia be next??

Outside of Manny and possibly Amir, there isn't a more deserving fighter than Garcia.

It'd be acceptable if Floyd did face Garcia, IMO.

 

If he fights Garcia, I hope Garcia knocks him out early.

 

So if floyd don't fight khan but fights a man who knocked out khan it's not ok ? LOL

 

I wouldn't mind Garcia, but not right now, he's not ready. Needs a few fights at Welter first.

People like this who just dont understand the game of boxing just annoy me like mad. Dont these people understand about styles and just because boxer A beats boxer B then it does not mean he has more chance he will beat boxer C.

Garcia will be picked off at will by Mayweather. There are two reasons why.
1. He isn't a brilliant pressure fighter.
2. He isnt a brilliant boxer.
This will be one of his most easiest victories like the guerroro fight...

 

The only time Garcia was acceptable was after he beat Matthysse, and even then I didn't like that fight. @ 147 it's either Pacquiao or Khan for me. Not Thurman, not Garcia, or anyone else.

Mayweather vs Garcia will make for an interesting fight. Can you imagine Papa Angel Garcia and Floyd Mayweather Senior and Uncle Roger going at it!

 

Like everyone else, I know who he should fight.

But I've come to believe it will be Garcia, Bradley, or Thurman.

I think Garcia, of these three, is no real threat, so will get the call. This especially since Mayweather can say "he's better than Khan."

I think Floyd has declined a lot.

I believe he can still easily beat Khan and would decision Bradley in a closer fight.

I don't believe he would risk Thurman or- unfortunately for us all- Pacquiao.

In terms of viable fights, other than re-matching Canelo (who should have scheduling conflicts) I believe Garcia is right there in his comfort zone.

 

Bradley would be a good one to make. Timmy is a bad style for Floyd, so that is a big risk if he decides to fight him. I dare say, Timmy would outwork Floyd over the course of the fight and win a decision.

 

I thoroughly agree with you in terms of work rate. I am not sure that equates to a Bradley decision.
