He wasn't hurt he was more off balanced and stunned than anything due rto him trying to throw the pull counter and missing. Out on his feet? Come on man! Out on your feet mean you're done and PBF was no where near that. out on you're feet is what Bute was against Andrade and Froch when he fought them.:deal That was not out on your feet. Like I said before iron chinned he took some good shots from Maidana. Maidana hit him with a hard hook flush and he didn't even blink.

He did a little funky chicken dance. Floyd has a good chin even at 37.

When Maidana caught Mayweather with that punch, I really felt it effected him more than the times Mosley, Judah and Corley connected on him.

Back then at least Mayweather was able to effectively rely on his defensive genius and regain his senses later on in those fights.

This time however it appeared Mayweather was just trying to survive the fight after getting clocked right at the bell like that.

Speaking on that punch at the end of round 3:

I felt like Mayweather was pretty much on the verge of landing on the canvass.. but 2 things saved him from that fate.

    1. The ropes caught his fall.

    2. The bell happened just when he got clocked by Maidana.

I feel if Maidana caught him earlier (say mid round) and actually followed up with a volume of more punches; Mayweather would have been off balance and on the canvass.

I think it would have been a wise choice for Maidana to follow up with a few punches downstairs followed up with 1-2 upstairs. Or maybe an uppercut.

    * btw weird how Maidana never threw any uppercuts huh... There were for sure moments in the fight where uppercuts would have landed on Mayweather.. solid *

Even if Maidana knocked Mayweather down, I still think Mayweather would have gotten up before the count though.

Unless he got nailed on the button with a Mike Tyson like left hook or something of course. lol

And it would either take a really really solid puncher with one punch k.o power or someone able to knock him down more than 2-3 times to make any real impact.

    True.

However this is a different Floyd from previous years.

Age and father time waits for no one (except maybe Chuck Norris??)

Also i feel the partying and lavish lifestyle maybe catching up to Floyd slowly but surely.

Floyd traded to many brutal punches with Marcos during moments he could not evade him around the ring. Shot for shot was never really Floyd's style before.

I have always known Floyd for his amazing defensive skills.

I saw the whole fight this time and noticed that Floyd seemed very vulnerable to counter punches.

I remember there was a point when Floyd landed a good jab(?) to Marco's face and in turn Marco's countered with his own punch to Floyd's sweet spot.

^ Floyd would not have let this happen this frequently in 1 fight years before.

    :lol::rofl:lol:
    Talk about reaching.

Mosley caught PBF with just as hard of a shot in the middle of the round and couldn't finish him off. I have no idea why you would say something like this?

Yes he was hurt and it was clear to see .

WOW Chino is NO bum , Floyd actually deserves credit for his 2 victorys over him .

If that's the case Why did Floyd feel the need to rematch this bum ?? For the fans !?

    Yeah right .

He did not like the fact Chino gave him a close fight and manage to rough him up good the first time around .

Floyd has a Huge ego , it most likely bothered him that a 1 dimensional fighter had that much success against him .

He wanted to redeem himself and that's why Chino was given the rematch the first place .

It never had anything to do with pleasing the fans or what the fans wanted. I doubt anyone fell for that .

From the look of his completely swollen face (Top lip and Nose , rumor has it a Lost tooth ) and him getting ROCKED . I know once again hes still unhappy with his 2nd performance as well .

Floyd was hurt but he still had his wits with him like when Mosley caught him. Yes he was wobbled by a punch AFTER THE BELL (that entire last sequence started right after the bell rung) but it wasn't like he was ready to go.
