It depends on which weight class they fight. If they both fought each other at 160 then Floyd would be KO'ed.

 

SRR started out at WW and Floyd started out at 130 in their and hit prime probably at 140 these kind of threads are crazy. asking Pacquiao and Floyd to beat prime ATG WW who moved on to higher weights is just stupid. That said Floyd probably lasts the distance. His chin has proven to be good enough and his defense is one of the bests. No way he wins though

 

Yes he can survive 15 rounds with anybody...just boost the IV ml up.

12 rounds = 750ml

15 rounds = 1000ml

 

I think a passed prime Floyd has a better chance of going the distance with GGG than he does prime for prime vs the GOAT.

 

When did Mayweather fight anyone at welter that was taller and had a longer reach ? Never .

 

Mayweather has never fought anybody who punches as hard as Robinson. Never fought anybody with as much speed as Robinson. And never fought anybody who was even close as skilled as Robinson.

He wouldn't finish the fight.

Robinson went up because of lack of opposition and gave away weight on numerous occasions . Robinson never weighed 160 lbs till his 126th bout in an era where it was same day weigh-in .

 

Yeah, there's a real shame in losing to Jake LaMotta. Especially when LaMotta is about 15-16 pounds bigger, and you're fighting 15-20 times a year. You fight that often, you're probably gonna have some off-nights here and there, and have trouble against top contenders who have 15 lbs on you.

Anyway, Robinson was known to carry opponents on Mob orders, but Mayweather is very difficult to hit anyway. Chances are, it goes the distance. The two fighters have a combined 250 or so pro fights and neither of them were stopped other than Ray collapsing one time in 100+ degree weather.

Robinson actually started at 135. Less than a year into his pro career, he defeated the lightweight champion of the world in a non-title bout.

 

Lest we forget how many times SRR actually beat Jake too...

 

you can make an argument for either fighter winning but i dont think floyd gets hit enough by just about anyone in his weight division in his prime to be stopped. even with robinsons freakish power

 

In constant defence mode I expect Floyd to be able to survive.
If he has bought a couple of judges as well they might even hand him the undeserved nod too in some cases.
