I dont care how big someone is, if that shot lands on you, your going down and probably not getting up.

It's all about leverage and placement. Pac fractured Marg's face with one awkward looking bolo type shot.

it was a quality shot ....very impressive

but ..... hatton had already been knocked down 'Twice' in the 1st round

and was on wobbly legs coming out into the 2nd

I've seen Floyd hurt more times to the temple than his chin. And yes I've taken punches before

I cant recall Floyd getting tagged on the chin, at all. Thats because he usually doesn't stick it out in the air, and he hides it pretty good behind them shoulders.

If he indeed took shots better to the chin than the temple, don't you think the philly shell defense would be counterproductive? :rofl

My man, you're missing the point. Part of the effectiveness of that shot was because he baited Hatton into leaning forward/ with his hands down thus absorbing the maximum possible impact. To say that Floyd could absorb that shot if he "rolled" with it is counter-intuitive. That's like saying, sure he could absorb that shot if it landed on his gloves. In short, it's not just the shot; it's the whole sequence that made it so effective...starting with getting Hatton to come forward with his hands down. Now to answer the OP, can "anyone" absorb a hard perfectly timed shot from Pac while coming forward?". I doubt anyone could.

First one on the chin, Floyd saw the shot coming.

Second one on the ear, Floyd didn't see it coming.

That does not prove your comment, at all.

And by the way, Floyd has an iron chin.

That proves floyd iron chin. Other boxer would have easily gone senseless with that punch to the chin.

you said you never seen him hit to the chin. Don't imply that everybody takes punches the same way. I remember SRL talking about it too, that when you get older, you get more suspect-able to temple shots

In Floyds mind, that punch would turn Floyd into Ali.
