Could Mayweathers Prison stuff be a ploy to face Amir Khan at 140 for lineal champ?

    no, it didn't occur to me, because it makes very little sense. it's illogical. requesting house arrest via court proceedings because of what floyd believes to be "unsuitable" prison conditions are ultimately part of some completely unfounded ploy for a khan fight? you're not too bright.

    Im not saying it isnt a good fight,, esp. in the UK but I dont see any reason why they couldn't fight at 147, doesn't mean that Khan has to go up that far (think Mayweather weighing in at 150lbs to fight Cotto at 154lbs) just means he has the option to fight at whatever weight up to 147lbs he feels comfortable at.

    I always said (and still do) that Khan gives Mayweather some problems with his speed, workrate, height and jab. They are not even close in skill level though and Mayweather dominates the 2nd half of the fight (if they fight) but it would be a huge match up as far as revenue and hype.

    Khan has to get past Garcia first though.:cool:
