Could McCall take Wilder's best shots without getting dropped or wobbled?

Ortiz is ONE good win. Let's see a bit more before proclaiming him the GOAT :deal:

But you told me earlier that he was able to which indicated his good chin. Now that you've admitted he couldn't take Wilder's power would you agree that the Wilder fight is not indicative of Ortiz having a good chin?

No i didn't, he took the shots relatively well is what i said. I also said most fighters would be asleep after taking those shots so i think it's fair to say Ortiz has got a good chin.

A messed up McCall took Lennox bombs. He takes punches from 214 Wilder.

But he didn't take the shots well because he was down 3 times in the entire fight and got stopped. How is that taking the shots well? Wouldn't it be taking the shots well if he had at least gone the distance?

I think your standards are incredibly low for having a good chin. Being knocked down 3 times in a fight does not tell me someone has a good chin.

You're forgetting one thing though, he was getting hit by the hardest hitting HW of all time IMO. Kinda puts thing's in to perspective don't you think?

See this is what brings us back to the circular logic. Your evidence that he's the hardest hitting heavyweight is what he did to Ortiz and your evidence that Ortiz has a good chin is that Wilder is the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time.

Btw there's a lot more to a knockout than power. Marciano hit harder than Louis but Louis would knock out more heavyweights in history.

This all hangs on Wilder being the, "hardest hitting heavyweight of all time,"and you keep repeating it doesn't make it so.

You're forgetting another little thing, Wilder has stopped everyone he has faced. My evidence is not what he did to Ortiz at all, it's the destruction he's created to all that stands in his path.

Ortiz is the only real live opponent he has met.

Shavers,Foreman,Liston,Williams,Lewis,Wlad, Tua,Louis,Dempsey,Morrison,Ruddock. may all be comparable.Wilder has feasted on a lot of ham and eggers.
He beats one really decent guy, after being on the verge of being stopped ,a guy who could be anywhere from 38 to 40+ and a guy who has a very shallow resume himself, and you want to proclaim him as the greatest hitter of all time?

wass is beginning to sound like Drago's manager in Rocky 4 - "whatever he hits, he destroys"

I'm surprised he hasnt claimed that Ali would struggle with Wilder's power...

Wilder hits hard but i dont think its possible to quantify his power just yet - especially when his opposition is poor.

That's really great and I give Wilder props as being a puncher with power up there with Foreman, Dempsey, Lewis, Wlad, etc but to say he's the hardest hitter ever with power previously unheard of is quite an exaggeration. Everyone he has fought could have been stopped by Foreman, Lewis, Dempsey, Wlad, etc.
