Could McCall take Wilder's best shots without getting dropped or wobbled?

A lot of these feasted on similar fighters at some points in their career and none showed the same sickening power, Tyson was beating up on CW's for a lot of his early bouts and still wasn't knocking them cold like Wilder does. Foreman was fighting the same fighters in his second career too and still not doing the job like Wilder.

Who the hell did Shavers knock out? A bunch of Road Sweepers?

Correct, we don't yet have the technology to quantify his power, great post thanks.

Everyone who they fought WOULD be stopped by Wilder if he landed his best shot, he would also stop the ones they couldn't IMO.

Fair go mate. We have a minute portion of Shavers 68 ko's and miles of Foreman's are missing too from film not to mention guys pre-dating them.

Landing his best shot is different from being able to land his best shot. I'm sure if Earnie Shavers was able to land his best shot on everyone he faced he'd probably have a lot more W's on his record and held significantly higher in historical context. Same with Foreman he would have stopped Morrison, Briggs, Young, Ali, Holyfield and have been regarded as the GOAT.

Yes. Keep in Mind Ortiz who was 38-41 years old had blood pressure issues, and became tired later in the match.

McCall had no issues going rounds and took a better shot.

But the thing is he has landed that shot on everyone he has faced.

78% of the posters disagree. And, I suspect you may be taking the **** out of people anyway. Regardless, let's stop beating this dead horse.

100% of his opponents agree. I agree, it's time to only discuss this after his next bout.

Which Ring ranked challengers has he met apart from Ortiz?

So you have testimony from all his opponents stating he is the biggest puncher they have fought?

They weren't feasting on them 39 fights into their careers when they held titles were they?

KO'd Ken Norton and Jimmy Ellis

    Tkod Jimmy Young

Badly hurt Larry Holmes, Ron Lyle and a prime James Tillis before losing.

Shavers was a known murderous puncher when the division was stacked with good fighters - a golden age compared to today's HW division.

As for Tyson, he showed great power from his first fight - he was knocking dudes across the ring.

It looked like Marvis Frazier had been shot as he lay crumpled on the canvas with his head bowed and arm dangling over the ropes.

Also, examine the records of Wilder and Shavers. Shavers had a higher ratio of KOs/TKOs than Wilder.
