If he had Manny Stweward working with him the way he did before his fight with Lewis focusing on throwing at the same time Lewis threw those wide rights he was at the time, I think Steward could maybe do the same with Wilder who sometimes wings his rights like Lewis did in the early 90`s but McCall wasn`t very bright so maybe not.

Why have people got it into their heads that Wilder is the hardest puncher in human history?

He has stopped two, repeat two, fighters who were ranked!

So far so good, but not very far so far!

After ten years of grabfest, boxing became so boring nowadays you have to celebrate what you can get ;)

If Stiverne survived then McCall certainly could.

I'd imagine Mercer would as well.

No. When somebody hits as hard as Wilder, nobody can truly take his best shots if they genuinely land clean.

Wilder has almost no tools, but he can wallop.

He was wobbled by big Frank. I think Wilder has a chance to hurt him but we still don't really know how hard Wilder hits. He hits very hard for sure but any harder than Bruno, Foreman, Tua, Liston etc? I'm not convinced and stopping an old Ortiz hasn't told me anything.

I'd be prepared to bet a couple fingers that Wass1985's ISP address is in Alabama. Wouldn't be at all surprised if his last name rhymes with "milder".

Could Wilder take McCall's best shot without being dropped or wobbled? :D

    Actually scratch that.

Could Wilder take McCall's best shot without needing paramedics and an oxygen tent?

    Stiverne did first time around.
Szpilka went into the 9th,Duhaupas into the 11th.
Lets wait until he starts facing ranked contenders and regularly blowing them away, before pronouncing him the second coming of Max Baer.

Surely fight tactics have to be taken into account here. Why would Wilder even risk going for the KO knowing he can soundly outbox McCall? To put himself in harms way would be absolutely foolish, that's why I think it's incredibly unlikely that Wilder would stop McCall. He'd win wide on points though

Nothing seems to invite hyperbolic praise quite like something that's probably not that great, but still maybe the best thing to come along in a while...

Well I would guess that nobody could stand up to a flush shot on the chin from Mr Wilder. Just like they couldn't from Lewis or another beast. But McCall would have a 70% chance of beating him regardless. Better fighter.
