Could Melio Bettina have won titles at light heavyweight and heavyweight in the 50s?

    He seemed to hold his own against anyone he fought whether it was Conn, Bivins, Apostoli....he was also the no. 1 heavyweight contender in 1944. Could he have gotten a strap in either division in the 50s? If so, against who?
