    If we put in Moorer, in place of Braddock, would he have gotten the win as well?
    Braddock apparently had a fairly decent chin, this would have helped against hard hitter Baer, on the other hand, MM wasn't known for a solid jaw.. So who wins?

    Oh didn’t finish reading before voting. Max was done after he won the title. Didn’t properly train or take anything boxing all thag seriously to compete at the highest levels. He would lose that day. The day he beat Primo though. I don’t think that Baer losses

    Kronk Gym Disciple Moorer should outbox Baer who would have a punchers chance. Although Baer isn't as powerful as Foreman or Tua and is actually lighter in the ring than Moorer. Moorer could also stop Baer who quit against Louis and was stropped twice by the smaller Nova. Moorer has some noticable KO victories at LHW, against Jirov (1 punch), Bert Cooper and Stewart

    Any excuse to post this war between Moorer and Cooper

    Baer looks awful on film in many fights Moorer could easily win this, thing is when Baer got mad and just attacked he was a very powerful man. I'm not sure Moorer's chin would stand up.

    I don’t think Baer quit against Louis, he took some monstrous punches.
    I think it’s just because he looked like he was taking a knee, that it looks as though he quit.
    I don’t think that was the case.

    Yes that's right, Moorer should stick to a game plan, bang his southpaw Jab into max s face and get himself a nice easy decision.
    But Moorer did like a tear up, and even the sloppy Baer doesn't lose his punching power, so he could lose this all by him self.

    Of course and in many cases he would do that. Now, if we take motivated peak 1931-34 Baer from Schmeling/Carnera/Schaff/Levinsky/etc, then I would favor him. Great chin, great power and well conditioned.
