I was re-watched Spinks v Holmes 1 and was impressed with Spinks jabbing in that fight, he feinted well with his lead and made Larry very hesitant, it was also hard to see his jabs coming, Fury and Wilder didn`t seem to be as clever with their jabs in their bout but their reaches were making their jabs a problem for the other guy, so could Spinks have got around the reach diffeence and landed a lot of jabs on either foe?

He would have completely outjabbed and outfoxed wilder with his safety first points-based style. His awkwardness and small stature would infuriate wilder who would have no choice but go for a hail mary hayemaker. Im not sure wilder would ever beat spinx.

Fury on the other hand isnt as technically sound as spinx but the huge difference in reach and height means fury could beat spinx at his own game due to simple genetics and weight. I wouldn't rule out fury by late round stoppage either.

Not su sure about Jinx out jabbing either man ,probably more luck against Wilder than Fury. But his awkward jerky style gives em both a little trouble for a while. Spinks had success against Larry because of Holmes years ,he was no spring chicken by the mid 80 s ,so Michael got his chance .
He'd probably be stopped by both Wilder and Fury imo .

I think Spinks would easily out jab and outbox Wilder. He might have more trouble with Fury. But, I think he has an excellent chance of exploiting Fury's lack of handspeed. And Fury does not have the power to stop Spinks. Especially when Spinks would make it so difficult for Fury to land cleanly.

What about Wilder`s reach? It`s hard to evade his long jab, Spinks had really short arms compared to Wilder.

That would definitely be a factor but I just think its a matter of styles. Spinx liked to let his opponent lead first and wilder liked to lead so its a match made in heaven.

But there's certainly a possibility that wilder is able to stick his long jab out and set the pace. The way he controlled stiverne in the 1st fight was impressive.
