Now i know this fight is unlikely at this point in time... BUT if they did, do you think Cotto has a chance at Beating P.Willy? Style wise would Cotto be able to get to Pauls Body and do damage? Would he be able to stay inside? Is he to small at 5'8? What do you guys think??

    Mulitple choice *****s**

Paul Williams is a freak for 147lbs that NO ONE wants to fight other than maybe Clottely for the lack of fights he has. If Williams were to stay on 147lbs. he would dominate and build a legacy there. I see Cotto, Mosley, Mayweather, Clottely, Margarito and any upcoming future 147 pounders having no chance against Williams. At 154+ is another story.

As for your question....No way would Cotto beat Williams. He is too damn tall!

The real question is: When will Williams fight Kirkland? :hey

I would favour Williams because that sort of output is always going to be something Cotto struggles with. Cotto likes time to think and plan his attacks, its going to be difficult to think when Mr Tickle throws all these crazy punches.

You never know how Williams slight frame would deal with the bodypunching of Cotto though.

Cotto's style could pose real problems to PW. I would favout Cotto in this fight, UD. It would be a great fight

I would lean towards Williams on points.

But i'd expect a close exciting fight, and I think that it is not impossible that Cotto would win in any one of several ways.

Paul is too big and throws too much. Cotto has a lot of power, but he'd have to get inside to the body and he'd just get pounded on the way in. The height disparity is over half a foot, and Paul has ungodly long arms - there's no way Cotto can walk through that kind of fire and stay standing.

Also, Cotto doesn't like relentless pressure. The first guy who put him under serious heat, gloves aside, knocked him the **** out. Cotto likes to evaluate his opponents in the ring, show patience, pick his spots and outbox them. He doesn't cope well with guys showering him with punches 24/7 - he's been on the ropes quite a lot in his career against guys he has the talent to cruise past because of punch volume and aggression. I don't think he'd handle Williams punch power very will.

Williams by UD or Cotto quits on his stool late.

How about an option that Cotto has a chance, but Paul would probably win?
