As far as the topic goes I just cannot see Smoking Joe surviving the initial Tyson onslaught.

I love Frazier n he might be the bravest fighter I have ever seen but in my opinion Mike is just too big, powerful and quick for Joe.

But that's exactly the point. Holmes, Holyfield and Tyson all fought quite dirty. You however want to put 100% of the blame on Holyfield and give Tyson a free pass.

In that particular fight, Holyfield committed the number of fouls which completely overdid all the fouls Tyson did in his entire career

As Larry Merchant once said, "Tyson was a mile wide and an inch deep. Frazier was a mile wide and a mile deep."

It would look more like Tyson vs Marvis Frazier, actually. Smokin Joe's defense compared to Iron Mike's offense is suicidal.

Too big? Lol.. Tyson was basically the same frame of frazier with a few pounds of muscle added

Joe weighed 203 and a half in the first Quarry fight and 205 vs Ali in the FOTC.

Mike weighed 221 vs Berbick and 218 and a half vs Spinks.

Both guys were in perfect shape so its fairly obvious Tyson is the larger fighter.

Lmao curiously you picked the lightest weights of joe and the heaviest of mike...in order to gain credit in your argument...
Tyson was perfect at 215 against holmes and frazier was perfect at 209 against bob foster... Simply Tyson added more musculature, both them fought in the 201 limit in the amateurs.
Tyson was not bigger than joe frazier,in fact when mike lost his musculature at older age you can see that he was not that big,it was all muscular mass, you can make a case for frazier having bigger thicker frame.
Anyway they were pretty close in size, saying that tyson was too big for him is absurd

LOL mate, actually I picked what I thought were Tyson and Frazier's best fights. Joe and Mike do pretty have similar sized frames but Tyson is more muscular and last I heard muscle mass does count as size.

I cant image that Joe trained harder for Foster than he did for Ali so I would guess he was in better shape at 205 than he was at 209.

You picked his heaviest weights and you know it lol.
I can use exactly your argument against tyson... He was in better shape against holmes when he weighed 215...
Frazier weighed 217 1/2 against ron stander at 28 and he was hardly fat

My point is that he had the frame to carry the same weight of tyson. He had very thick frame in legs and thorax. You know
The natural size of a man for his bones not because his muscular mass

Perhaps your right. Foreman was a force of nature, terrorizing type of presence. Being a bit scared can make a man fight 100% of his ability.

I don't think Mike is gonna ***** out without letting George feel his own thunder. When he was unifying the titles and had something to prove.
