Mirandas punches are too wide and i doubt he has more power than Kessler. People understimate Kessler. Andrade is too big and strong for Miranda. I will say that last nights knocout was amazing and scary even but look at the level of competition. alot of people are blowing this way out of proportion. As flawed as Andrade is he is levels above Banks due to his iron chin and intense power. If this fight is made i wouldnt be surprised to see both guys get hurt but i would see Miranda go down and probably counted out.

I assure everyone that Andrade would win. Miranda is not effective off the backfoot as seen from the Pavlik fight and Andrade can take anything he throws.

Miranda was landing big right after big right on Henry Porras and even struggled a little and it took 5 rounds and a questionable stoppage.

Meanwhile Andrade has a serious punch also, will back Miranda up and will take anything and dish it out as well. Andrade is limited, but he's a dangerous limited because of his chin, stamina and power/workrate, he's all wrong for Edison Miranda.

    Andrade TKO 6.

it could NEVER be on Marquez Vasquez level because those are two p4p best right there... but as far as being a good battle of course it would be. I think its winnable by both guys but id hope miranda would be able to get the advantage with his heavier punches.

how does andrade dispatch miranda in the same amount of time that pavlik did it? not even close...

i agree i could see this fight in favor of andrade but no way he stops miranda inside 10 imo.

    1. Andrade hits harder.

    2. Andrade throws more punches and won't be backed up by Miranda at any point.

    3. Andrade is physically larger and stronger, plus he goes to the body more, somewhere Miranda hasn't been effective.

Pavlik isn't some elite fighter guys, Taylor was always overrated and Miranda is always going to be limited, but fun. I'd tip Andrade to beat Pavlik too, Pavlik is not very effective off of the backfoot and Andrade would be the one backing him up.

It would be a nice fight. The immovable object versus the irresistible force. Pantera probably too much for ultra game Mexican.:smoke :smoke

im gonna have to disagree with you.... taylor may have been overated, thats an opinion, whats a fact is pavlik did what nobody else did and thats beat him convingly.

also... there is no way in hell andrade punches harder then pavlik. his punishment from the volume of his punches wont take effect until around the 8-10th rounds. Pavlik was landing like crazy on Miranda and i dont see why you think andrades power is anything like pavliks.

    i hope this fight happens...

It would be, because both have certain strengths and vulnerabilities. Wouldn't be made though, Andrade is the dangerous guy with tons of intangibles and no skill, therefore looks bad on film but can upset a lot of people.

But who didn't beat Taylor convincingly, what natural younger MW? Old Hopkins and old Wright mean little to me in this equation and the limited Pavlik showed exactly why.

Andrade does hit harder shot for shot, Pavlik is an accumulation hitter also, he gets the KO's after a lot of sharp landed blows, not just one punch to set a guy reeling and then stop them.

Andrade seriously lacks accuracy though, but he does dig to the body a lot more than Pavlik and that will sap Miranda's already horrible stamina.

    i hope this fight happens...[/quote]

And that's been the case sadly for a long time. With boxing, you get a few who are taken into a marketable group of 'super fighters' and they in fight essentially, even when plenty about can defeat them and plenty more have talent of the same quality but never get anywhere.

Take Joan Guzman for example, Guzman vs. Pac or Marquez should have already been made in the past 2 years, instead he's fighting Alex Arthur despite being an incredible talent preferances aside.

Either vs. Mayorga would be, but he's already gone on record saying he's had his fill of slugging above MW.
