In his ‘prime’ he was 205-210lbs. That is what cruiserweights turn up as on fight night today.

He never defeated a skilful big man like Lewis, Klitschko, Fury, Joshua.

Tell me which 6’5 240lb fighters that Ali beat.

    Silly question.

The real question is as follows:

Could the likes of Klitschko, AJ and Wilder navigate their way into a top 15 spot in the days of James J Corbett and Bob Fitzsimmons?

    Ali was feather fisted?!?
Now he may not have been a puncher in the Foreman or Liston mould but to describe him as feather fisted shows just a little lack of knowledge.

he beats loads of men bigger than him. Terrell was one of the better ones.

240lbs would just be excess weight making Ern a worse fighter, he'd never last 15 rounds with that baggage. Hes not stupid enough to try and fit into your definitions.

The question is could Muhammad Ali in his prime compete with the boxers of today. The boxers of today do not fight for 15 rounds so your points are redundant.

Ali could compete with today's heavyweights but he would have nowhere near the success he had in the 60s and 70s.

Ha! Trick question. You're not getting me that easy, old timer. There were only 14 active boxers in the days of Corbett and Fitzsimmons. And that's counting both of Professor Welton's Boxing Cats.

Because he spent his entire career people fighting people his own size or mostly smaller. He fought very few giants like we have today.
One of his main tactics was the clinching and leaning, he did this just as much as Wlad. That would not work against fighters who are 4 inches taller and 30lbs heavier.
Ali liked to box on the outside and that isn't going to work against skilful fighters who are a lot bigger.

I'd give Tyson more chance for success for this reason, he'd go for them and try to get past their jab.

look, the more you write something thats already exposed, it doesnt make it more true.

What it does is makes people reading wonder why you feel the need to keep writing it after being exposed.

You asked me to explain why he wouldn’t be great in this era and I explained the reason to you. You are the one who keeps asking me to explain.
