Wlad hardly lost a round for about 10 years. That's domination in my book.

Yes, you will mention his earlier losses, but they don't undo his decade of domination.

that pair never even resolved whether they were better than Byrd and Sanders.

decade of dummification, aside from a couple of good wins.

2 good wins is 1 year of domination, not ten.

its right in front of them but they either ignore it or run off to start another thread on it.

So who were the great sub 220 lbs contenders he ducked?

Another question: Why have dominant 6'3 210-215 lbs fightes not shown themselves over the last two decades?

why are you asking this? its about who he did fight that is the issue AND Wlads 80% crap opps is a separate issue to the question of under 6 3 220lbs and over 6 3 240lbs.

noones been dominant! No going in circles tonight, please.

They exist...but they don’t box anymore. They play football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer. People who used to get into boxing sadly don’t. Money just isn’t there for your average boxer anymore so they go into other sports. Would love for a better system to better pay the talented boxers.

    Come on, stop the nonsense.

I'll try it one more time, if you don't have an answer this time I won't waste any more time on you:

Why are the last two decades the only ones in the history of the sport where no one under 220 lbs have been able to establish domination in the HW division?

i agree. They outright ignore that the guys that Lewis and Wlad struggled with and/or lost to were a similar or even smaller size than the great heavyweights from the 60's-90's, it just doesn't fit into their narrative. Its pointless to have a discussion or debate with these people.

you can try as many times as you want, the answer is the same you 've received everytime you asked me - noones been dominant since lewis. Why is that nonsense? because it being nonsense to you means you can duck it again?

so the "noone" is self explanatory.

Wladimir never lost to anyone under 225 and Lewis never lost to anyone under 230 so that rules out 60s Ali, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Liston etc on the basis of weight

How many of the basketball stars ar 6'3? The best "Soccer" (football) players are much smaller than guys like Holmes and Ali, so they haven't gone there either.

And even if a all the athletic 6'3 guys went into American Football and baseball (is that a typical size for the best of those sports?) it doesn't explain why the best fighters outside of America all have been much bigger. No one of Wlad, Vitaly, Lewis, Fury, AJ etc are from the US.

A huge talent pool which doesn't compete with baseball and American football has opened up in the former Soviet Union in the last 20-25 years, but the best HWs from there have been big guys.
