Bob Foster is very overrated these days!
He lost every big fight even lost against LHW bums!
Hazelton who was MW beat him and somehow he would beat Spinks,Charles,Moore...

Wrestling is great to watch in person, especially at the college level.

It's hard core, at times I would cut 10% of my body weight ,, And I was the lowest weight . So I would weigh in and wrestle within 2 hours .. it was brutal

Monzon talked a couple times latter career of going up and fighting Foster but never made the move.

Foster would be a bad match for him obviously. It wasn't the strongest division at the time and Foster was the only terror so if Foster wasn't there Monzon could have made a good run at it imo. He was tall and lean (could have carried the weight quite well) with good durability and would have been more skillful than what was lurking.

Carlos was not a greedy fighter to have moved up, he was financially set, had a movie acting career. If he was broke, he would have came back to boxing, never did.

    Bob Hazelton was a middleweight?

He might have made 160 when his legs were amputated but that’s about the only time.

Bob Hazelton was 165-173 and 175 for Foreman fight!
He was nothing but skinny smw or small LHW!
He was nothing good and Foreman destroyed him in 82 seconds!
    He then destroyed Foster!
Foster was Bob Satterfield of his time!Good ounch but weak chin and Satterfield atleast knocked some HW like Cleveland Williams!
Satterfield=Foster and Moore,Charles...destroyed Satterfield in 3 rounds! They would do the same thing to poor Foster!
