Could Muhammad Ali ever have beaten Henry Cooper in a true way?

Cant believe how many posters in this thread. It was clearly a joke at the expense of delusional Vitali K fans

 

I am a Vitali fan but I must admit Klitschko fans are some of the most rabid and hysterical fans on this forum, anything negative and they jump on it with snapping jaws and frothing mouths. Makes it hard being a Vitali fan on this forum. :!:

Cooper should consider himself lucky that Ali/Clay didnt have dreads as well.

I could accept a Cooper EVT Ali x 1 for their first fight in 1963 because he scored a great knock down prior to being stopped on cuts & was a massive underdog.

Now the 2nd fight... only a fool could credit Cooper with anything other than losing in 1966, he might have got cut as opposed to knocked out but he was hitting air all night long while Ali was in cruise control.

As far as could Ali have knocked out Cooper if the fight was allowed to continue the full 15 rounds regardless of any cuts ?... maybe, maybe not, he`d almost certainly do the most damage within the 15 rounds.

As far as could Ali win on points in a similar scenario where no cuts stoppages are allowed ?... definitely, considering he was ahead in both fights at the time of the stoppage & is a far superior boxer to Cooper.

Is this the same fight that Dundee cheated by cutting Ali's glove to buy more time so he can heal,take a break etc..

Still he needed smelling salts and a 3-5 minute break, just to cut his face with now broken gloves.

It wasn't "a couple of minutes"(like Cooper and his supporters love to claim).It was 6 or 7 seconds.Before posting,try to learn the facts(and watch the fight)!!!It's astonishing how wrong and deluded people are on this subject.
