seriously shane has been outboxed by people that has less talent than he does, mayorga (is not a boxer -brawler yes) was 8 seconds from a mega upset- your going to need more than 1 game plan to beat floyd- he can adjust as the fight goes on. also mosley has no jab and that has served him well against fighters with less speed than he has- i was ringside at for the cotto fight- he was a flat footed the entire fight, trying to load up thinking he could ko cotto with 1 punch- 99% of the people their said if they had fought 3 years earlier shane would of killed him- guess what its now 5 years later..

i want to see the fight like everyone else- but begging for fights is not something shane should be doing- announcing pacman had agreed to fight him??? wow now for the past 3 days- all of these interviews about how floyd is ducking him- i sent a few questions to the ring to get answered- maybe you guys know the answers:

if floyd should be ashamed- then why was you chasing to fight pacman a even smaller man? didnt the company you work for promote the fight (sounds like someone is not a team player)
also oscar fought floyd and pacman - smaller fighters should be be ashamed also?
when you side step floyd 2 times in 06 where you scared or hand picking fighters?
when you made the comment that you fight the best out there; then fighting a shot vargas 2 times and mayorga was for what?
paul williams has done everything but shout you out or calling scared yet you refuse to fight him why?
finally -its obvious your trying to get paid on your way out- which is all good- shane deserves that- but cotto, clottley, williams and berto where ww champs this year- offered to fight you yet you sit going into 2010 without a fight
the deep pole of ww fighters are not ducking shane- how is it that cotto beats shane head to head and has beaten 3 top 10 ww while shane has only beaten 1 margocheat and is ranked higher than cotto? even the math in boxing is messed up!!!

Anyone can come up with a gameplan to beat Floyd. **** I got one right now. The issue is coming up with a fighter that can execute that gameplan.

:think Sounds pretty smart to me too... Just take what he gives you. :good

Keep the jab down at his chest, and just zero in on those biceps, shoulders and elbows... and bang away until something good happens.

Dead arms and legs aren't half as bad as they sound. You can still keep your arm up. I think he should concentrate more on cutting off the ring, keeping Floyd is range and being able to string combinations together. Combos are always going to be the way to open Floyd up, especially for a guy with the speed of Shane. The problem is going to be keeping his in range because he could just dance all around you and potshot you all night long.

Shane doesn't have the game in order to pull it off man. The guy has no jab fights flat footed can't handle movement and can't make adjustments he's nothing more than a slugger with good handspeed, who needs to fight guys who stand in front of him to get off. Look at how many people out boxed his cheating ass. Winky, Forrest and Cotto. PBF is just as good of a boxer if not better than all three of them.:deal

Of course everybody has a game plan, you would be foolish to go into any fight without one, it's just hard to execute it against a fighter of his class.

Richardson has had a clear impact on Mosley since starting with him if you compare his last to fights vs Mayorga and Margarito.

For much of Shane's career he has looked quite lost during certain bouts and has been relying on pure talent to blast his opponent out.

His father is obviously a decent trainer but he is no Nazim.

Against Margarito Shane looked extremely comfortable with the gameplan and executed it perfectly.

I dont know what plan he will have for Mayweather, but there will definately be a dangerous one, and i believe it will be decisive.

People dont give floyd credit for being a smart fighter. The guy is very smart and adjusts his fightplan from round to round. Shane is also good at that. The problem with Shane is he has problems with the jab, I have never seen a fighter at his level that has such a hard time with something as simple as a Jab.

Too ofter people think the way to beat Floyd is to rush him and overtaxe his defence. Floyd is too good for that, plus his is a natural counterpuncher so he wants you to throw alot of punches. I think that Shane can beat floyd, and not have to get lucky to do so. Truth is I think the way to do this is the same way that Shane beat Margo. Has anyone noticed that fighters rarely sustain a body attack on floyd??? Its because of the counterpunching, but you have to say in his body and bang the **** out of it. I think that Shane is the only guy that will have the balls to do it. Example Cotto was scared to go to Margo's body when he cornermen kept begging him to do so. Shane beat the crap out of Margo's body and it was a left hook to the body that lead to the end of that fight.

To be honest with you I see a fight between Shane and floyd playing out alot like Shane vs Margo but without the onesidedness(is that even a word??).

Cotto-Mosley was a close fight but Cotto won it. He controlled the distance and out boxed and out smarted Shane in that figt. He rendered Mosley's combo punching and hand speed advantge null.
