Could Oleg Maskaev's career been a tad better

No Im talking about when boxing goes out the window, due to a stylistic matchup fatigue or otherwise. When a fighter has to go to plan B and slug it out or fight his way out of a fight, which will always happen against the better equipped fighter. In the case of the euro fighters, its been proven by the most elite of them, that they can be in trouble against the most limited of competition.
A prime elite fighter like Bowe, Lewis, Tyson were equipped to deal with a wide variety of circumstances in a fight, ie, bad stylistic matchup, injury, fatigue, bad night etc. In my opinion this is what separates them.
