It has been documented that both Teams had issues and the fight fell through. If Mayweather defeats Mosley and both have done extensive blood testing, Manny should agree to it and fight the biggest fight at 147 since Hearns-Leonard.

Honestly Manny Pacquiao and Roach made it a power struggle like Mayweather wouldnt be taking the same tests. He has done them before has plenty of tattoos, so he needs to put up or shut up. He already made Cotto fight at 145 in a title fight when he was the champ:nut

Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter an he would be doing himself and the entire boxing world a disservice if he retires for politics and doesnt opt to fight Mayweather. He said if Mayweather wins, it will be a 50/50 chance it happens becuase his mom wants him 2 retire:patsch

Of course ducking Floyd will affect his legacy, from my POV with acs outrageous demands he had no intentions of fighting Floyd and was trying any way to derail the fight, the drug test was his last escape route to get out of the fight. If Pacqiuao or his team really had intentions to fight Mayweather at that time, they would of never agreed to the Clottley fight like a day or 2 after a simple 10 day disagreement, that could of easily been resolved.

To sum it up, anybody who's not biased can clearly see that Pac ducked Mayweather, Pac gets zero respect from me anymore, if Floyd legacy is in question for not fighting the toughest competition, why should fly off into the sunset, while getting praise and admiration, without getting the same criticism when he has clearly been cherry picking since he got dominated by a washed up Morales.

    How could it not?

If he somehow beat Floyd he instantly becomes one of the greatest fighters of all time. You can start talking Duran territory, if he doesn't there will aways be that what if. Same with Floyd, the winner of that fight puts a huge name on their resume.

Of course. Would be a major blemish to both if they never make the fight happen, especially if May wins Saturday.

They need to fight but I think they will come to terms in the future. Pac would be insane to not take the fight the money would be huge.

If it doesn't happen, never will there be a fight so needed and so necessary that didn't happen. Shame for the whole sport in addition to the two fighters and there teams for not finding a way to make it happen....If Floyd beats Shane, this fight MUST happen.

The man has been fighting since he was 16. Most of his fights are exciting. He has fought in 7 weight divisions. So what disservices are you talking about? I don't know about you but no mother wants to see their son getting hurt.

As a boxing fan you should know how dangerous this sport really is. I do agree with you that Manny should fight Mayweather but it shouldn't affect his legacy too much if he doesn't fight him.
