Hopkins "KOed" Oscar in suspicious fashion and shortly after found himself a business partner in the Golden Boy. Another of DLH's conquerers, Shane Mosley also works with Oscar now.

Perhaps Oscar sees PacMan as his next Golden Goose. If Pac comes in and clocks DLH, Pac becomes an absolute SUPERSTAR of mythical proportion. If Oscar can then woo Pacquiao to Golden Boy and milk another couple of fights before Pac retires, then everybody wins. Oscar and Pac get richer and more famous and it's not like DLH is protecting an "0" or anything. If he wants to go out on a high he takes one more fight against an unworthy opponent.

Just a thought, wouldn't surprise me.

Pac still has a contract with Arum. But DLH fighting Pac has a Positive dollar effect for GOlden boy. Without the DLH fight Pac fight with any of the GBP fighters like Juan Diaz, Casa, JMM will gather around 300-400K PPV buys. But if Pac fight DLH on Dec, Pac will be seen by 2 Million PPV buyers. If Pac wins, the Buys for Pac's future PPV will authomatically will double up. Even the already Big fight Hatton-Pac will even become Bigger. The DLH fight will make Pac a crossover star and that Means lots of PPV business not only to Top rank but for DLH himself

You don't think Pac would walk on Arum? I just have a feeling Oscar's got something up his sleeve.

Maybe they are hoping/expecting that Pacman looses in his desire to win a congressional seat in the coming 2010 Phil. election. If Manny indeed looses then he might as well return back to boxing. His contract with Arum would have lapsed by then.
