Floyd has the best defense as of now. Mora is defensive. emmanuel is offensive and often defensively reckless. Different fighters. Biggest concern for Mosley is when he lands a good shot on emmanuel. Shane specifically said in his most recent fight that he's now too old to deal with movers. emmanuel has shown in his last fight that he will get on his bicycle if you hit him hard enough.
Not at all, the Oscar fight was something that many of us were questioning if Manny could fight the bigger guys. The Oscar fight was also lost at the weight scales, Oscar had no business at that weight after so many years. Now everybody knows what Manny is capable of, Shane will be prepared believe it or not and surprise many of those that are counting him out.
The only way this goes the distance is if Pacquiao carries him which he may do. Mosley gave all he had in the 9th round of the Mayweather fight but after the 2nd he was really out of the fight. He was so confused and he'll be confused again dealing with Pacquiao's speed. Forget his stamina it's his lack of ring IQ, aging, and shotness that will be shown against Pacquiao just as it was against Floyd but Pacquiao will be less defensive and more offensive(obviously). That nervous energy will eat him up like Pacquiao's punches will.
True. Mosley will find Pacquiao but he won't be as stationary as Mayweather was so he'll have less opportunities. If anything, Pacquiao should adopt a similar strategy he had in the Cotto & DLH fights. Mosley won't be able to disrupt that rhythm and will taste too many punches for his likings. I will not be surprised to see a Pacquiao TKO victory.
What Mosley fight do you think this will look most similar to? Cotto? Mosley is going to be dealing with someone who fights and runs in bursts.
This fight will be very different as I said before. Mosley and the world know what Manny is capable of since he move up in weight. Oscar and many of us didn't expect that much from Manny and Oscar lost the fight at the scales anyway.
I think it will look very similar to the Pac-Oscar, but Mosley won't quit. The ref will have to call it off.
Mosley hasn't dealt with this kind of speed in a long time. He was getting outboxed by Cotto 4 years ago and Pacquiao moves more and uses more angles than Cotto. Mayweather-Mosley reminded me of the first Wright fight and Mosley-Pacquiao will be a massacre. Everyone who beat Mosley had a great jab but this is the only time he'll take a pure beating. Forrest gave him a beating in the first fight but this will be worse.
Oscar's corner called it off. Mosley's trainer threatened to call it off in Mosley's Floyd fight. Everyone knows what emmanuel at welterweight is like now, so Mosley can do his homework. Don't want to see Mosley KO'd or pulled out.
Pac is still very small compared to Mosley. Mosley is used to fighting big men. With 7:1 odds, I'll be putting my money on Mosley. I think he is too underrated in this fight. This content is protected
i expect Mosley go for the hunt and Pacquiao to hit and run in the early rounds by middle it will be full exchanges and i expect Sugar to fade in the late rounds:happy, a tko i guess
SSM has two or three rounds to land with a hay-maker. After that it's Pac by annihilation. Mosley will be stopped.
shane has a very small punchers chance, thats it. he wont last against the pace pac sets. he's shown that his staminas gone and that he cant handle movers anymore. pac has shown against marg and de la hoya that he can control a fight with his speed and movement without giving someone much of a chance with a haymaker. once ssm's gassed it's gonna be ugly, shanes going to be target practice. he'll be stopped, hope the ref is going to stop the beating unlike the marg fight.
