Nelson was a terrific boxer and a bit special as a puncher. I believe the professor in his prime would have outboxed Pacquaio and win the fight by clean effective punching.Pacquaio would outwork him and throw far more punches but most of them would be blocked. If the judges prefer clean effective punching it's Azumah by UD.
Nelson was the bigger fighter, Pac is a very durable fighter at 130 lbs so this fight would go 12 rounds but I think Nelson wins a decision.

I like Nelson, I like him more than Pac.. but prime Pac would be favored over him. Nelson's best chance would be at 126. At 130, I cant see him beating the Pac that peaked and destroyed Morales in their rubber match. For what it's worth though, I do think Nelson beats the trio of Morales/Barrera/Marquez. I think Pac is a bad style for Nelson.
