Could Pacquaio have knocked out Margarito?

I wish people would read carefully before posting, would save me repeting myself.... I said that the main reason pac did not go all out in the last couple of rounds was because he was tired himself, had the fight won anyway & knew from the previous 10 rounds of action that Margarito wasn`t going anywhere except in the direction of a points loss.

 

He wouldn't have KTFO of Margo.. He would have gotten a ref or corner stoppage.. But KO, no.

 

Only a moron thinks that pac is such a nice guy he actually let Margo off the hook... pac always goes for the kill if its there, it wasn`t there, he could have unloaded on Margarito for another 10 rounds & the pattern of the fight wouldn`t have changed.

 

watch it again bud. he slowed down because he doesn't want to cause further damage. even with that marg's eye have permanent damage.

 

Let them believe Pac is a boxing God who could have done whatever to whoever whenever he wanted.. Helps them sleep at night. I mean what you wrote doesn't have to be true, but they won't even consider the possibility.

 

Could have forced the ref to stop it maybe, but probably couldn't put Margo down and out.

Naw I don't see it. Marg already ate a **** load of punches and was still hanging around. Manny was tired going down the stretch. That stoppage wasn't happening.

 

Yes, there were several occasions when he could have just pulled the trigger but he did not. This was the first sign of Pac going soft, on why he was unable to pull the trigger on JMM III and "Pillow Punches" Bradley.

He had Margarito severely hurt several times and could have TKO'd him.

If manny really stepped it up and started throwing bombs they could have stopped it IMO.

He might have got **** from a few posters on here but at least he would have lived to fight another day. Instead he's had to retire and miss out on a few more big paydays like the alvarez fight.
