Somebody brought up Oscar vs Shaq that thinks that's relevant.... that's how you know the people who never boxed. Shaq isn't a boxer... any journeyman heavyweight would look like a star against him before they stopped him
I posted it because it reminded me of that. My pops boxed and I grew up in the gym, I tried boxing but I took to martial arts and wrestling, boxing for me was just unnatural but I have a love for the sport. In no way do I think the fight was relevant to what a real heavyweight would do to Pacquiao. It was ment to be comical at best. You have to be a fool to believe Pacquiao at 147' could contend with a real heavyweight with heavyweight power. This isn't a movie where one is invincible and wouldn't get touched. He would get touched, clean shot or not PAC would get hurt. But hey people drink the PAC juice so much I'm surprise they don't match him with Bruce lee, or superman add your own imaginary scenario here_____.
Oh it's cool my bad then... but when you read some of the things people seriously believe on here it's hard to know when people are messing around lol
Your counter argument has holes in though - at what point did it suddenly become mandatory for Pac to have to weight upwards of 200 lbs? To fight at heavyweight you do not need to be a minimum size. I genuinely think Pac COULD do it, IF the ring size was very big. As anyone who has watched Valuev knows, he tired badly after 4 or 5 rounds. In a big ring he wouldn't be able to pin Pac in the first few, and from that point onwards, Pac has the potential to just jump in and out. Is it just me who doesn't think Valuev has that much power anyway? He throws arm punches - not sure when the last time he KO'd someone impressively was. Can't see any chance of him landing flush on Pac, but of course if he landed at 50% he would do damage - but KO Pac? KD sure, but KO I'm not entirely sure.
Catchweight? Check Drained? Check Rehydration Clause? Check Fixed fight? Check coming off loss? Check Old guy, good name? Check I think he can.
