I'd give him half a chance- I bet he'd hit hard enough to hurt valuev to the body and he'd be very hard to pin down.
He could probably go the distance if he runs all night. It's very possible for a 5'7", 9 or 10 stone man to keep a lumbering giant off balance and one step away from him all night, just by turning and running constantly. The little guy uses the big man's weight and momentum against him. It's like watching a middle aged man trying to catch some little kid. If Pac trained to move around all night he could probably go the distance.
Pac is 4 inches shorter than Oscar, and naturally quite a few pounds lighter, Valuev is 1 incher taller than Shaq and can actually box. Pac would be giving away half a metre in height, and nearly the same in reach, and about 180lbs in weight. He's obviously the better boxer (no ****), but there are weight classes for a reason. Even with his speed he would have a hard time getting in and landing without getting caught, it's not so easy to use angles and timing when you have so much extra distance to close before you can be effective. Even Haye who is very fast by HW standards had a hard time landing much on Valuev, the risk of attacking when you are not that resilient is rather large and Haye's reticence to get involved showed.
Jeff, I'm gonna steal this thread idea and post it in the general, adding some ero-sennin trademarks to it. It could be my greatest thread yet.
Right......Pacman scores multiple rounds from shots landed to the mid section.....Haye cdnt be pinned down by Valuev, how the ****s he gonna get to Manny. /Thread.
Valuev had to box normally against Haye, because Haye had the power to KO him. Valuev wouldn't have to box normally against Pac, he could just charge at him, because Pac has no chance of KOing him. Normal styles would go out the window, Valuev would just be able run at him and pin him in the corners then throw pitter patter shots which would still hurt.
