Let's face it. Some dumb****s are going to call cherry-picking on almost everyone Pacquiao fights because he's put himself in the position of being heavily favored by performing so well. Therefore, it's as if people simply don't want him to fight at all if he doesn't fight Mayweather or insanely try and take on the middleweight champion of the world when he's a rather shaky fit at light middleweight at that. You can't please all of the people all of the time. And you really can't please idiots. If Margarito called him out and he fought Berto, people would be going "Pacman didn't want any of Margarito, so he cherry-picks the guy that should've lost to Collazo!" or if he fought another welterweight champion like Zaveck, instead of being applauded for setting up a unification fight with a low-reward champion in an attempt to clean up the division, he'd get some jackoffs going "Floyd manned up and fought Mosley, who Pacman's still ducking to fight some nobody."
