here's one for you, you muppet. Margarito should not even be allowed to fight ever, him and his trainer are criminals and deserves to be in jail for attempted assault with a deadly weapon if not attempted murder.

I never said he was a worthy opponent to fight anybody let alone pacquiao and if he was not a bob "shylock" arum fighter he would never have gotten that fight.

The title of you topic is; "Could Pacquiao have cherry picked anyone harder than Antonio Margarito?" I mentioned Wlad, you mentioned who exactly ?

So if you were Bob arum, who would you have him fight ?

lol what in the last 2 years has given you any indication that Margarito is good? Him getting caught cheating, not landing a single punch on Mosley, his long lay-off, new trainers, etc. You are the one who is delusional. Seriously any non-journey man could beat Margarito, probably even feather weights

he fights at 135 and looked horrific at 144 catchweight when his opponent is full welterweight that is a light middleweight on fight night.

his last fight with pacquiao was the hungriest and one of the best performance by margo in a losing cause. ok care to make a poll on who wins between margarito and jmm at 150? ok make it 147 to make it easier on you. :D

You are aware the words have multiple meanings? By hard I mean done a more ultimate cherry pick. Could any opponent be more ripe for the picking than Margarito. I was debating between harder and more, I guess I got greedy.

Bob Arum doesn't have him fight anyone, it is his choice in the end. You don't force your golden goose to do anything he doesn't want to.

Marquez fighting above 135 is a big joke…..He struggled against a bum and a loser Katsidis…He’s getting hit too much on his puffy face at 135 by unrated fighter….How much more above 135 against an elite at higher weight…He’s an overhype fighter by fighting Katsidis who old Casanayor KO and beaten by Diaz….Both Casa and Diaz were beaten by Marquez…So, why fight katsidis where there is no sense and legacy fighting him…..Why not fight the top dog at 135….Soto, Guerrero and Chris John….Guerrero who KO Casamayor and Casamayor KO Katsidis…..Chris John who outclassed and schooled Marquez and Soto who Marquez ducked for years…..above 135, Marquez will suffer the most humiliating defeat of his life…..Khan will oubox him…Bradley and Devon will KO him in 1st round……Pacman will put him into grave….

:patsch:lol: Good job with your logic. Also "Since Pac is the 1 p4p fighter, he is the reigning champion"...:rofl Yes, there is no such thing as a reigning P4P champion. You don't "defend the p4p title" or have "p4p mandatory challengers" or clearly lose or gain some totally subjective title as that.

You say "if you want him to be able to keep that title." But I don't even give a **** though. Why do you need to believe I'm a big Pacquiao fan in order to make sense of my not agreeing with you? I have zero interest in Pacquiao being called p4p number one. But, fighting anyone does not devalue your standing in any way if you beat the crap out of them and to think that it does is moronic.

there is no legacy fighting a slow and old Marquez who only good fighting bum fighter Katsidis…..Marquez should fight the top dog of 135 like Sotto, Guerrero and a rematch against Chris John who schooled and outclassed Marquez….Marquez has no business fighting above 135….a bum and c-class fighter Katsidis hits Marquez too much on his puffy face…How much more a complete package in pacman will inflict on Marquez that night….Marquez will be carried out in a stretcher…..Its a mismatch…..I want either Floyd or Martinez…

first of all why would JMM fight at 150. it something he would never do, I don't even think he could if he wanted to. Second, what was hungry about Margarito's performance. He was hungry because the only thing of merit he did was land 1 body shot that hurt Pacquiao for half a second because Pac got his glove tied up in the ropes and couldn't move? It was a one sided outclassing and Margarito looked horrible. I've never seen him throw so few punches and with so little leverage.

Yep thats why I chose Wlad

And if you believe that you are as fresh as a new born babys ass.

So then, care to share who you think pac should fight, that would not be worthy of the title "cherry picked" in your eyes ?

I know you are a big Pac fan because you actually got offended that I used such old fashion things like facts and common sense to prove Margarito was cherry-picked. You are the one who used some weird analogy about basketball and the lakers to try and prove some point. It made no sense to anyone but I was trying to relate to you using the metaphor.

So according to your logic once someone is the #1 p4p who happens to be a heavyweight can fight journeyman flyweights who haven't fought in 3 years for his last 5 fights and it wouldn't devalue his standing. Meanwhile someone is fighting tough fights in which he is not even the favorite and winning impressively and no matter what he does his ranking can't reach #1 because "fighting anyone does not de-vaule your standing". I guess Pac is using your logic and is willing to fight any bum because his 1 status "can't de-vaule"
