:good And on the commentary you're 100% correct, and aside from that they're the most boring team ever, the American fans don't know how lucky they are with their commentary, all the drama etc, it's great.
No matter how bad HBO are, they can never be as bad as a football commentator who isn't even interested in boxing and a senile Watt.
HBO always have terrible commentary, those none boxers they have dont have a clue about the sport and cant call the difference between a missed and landed punch
That was horrible. I feel dirty after buying that fight. It was a total snow job in my opinion. How could two guys hug and touch gloves so much during the course of a fight? That was an exhibition not a fight. Manny showed some great conditioning and that he can work a heavybag well, thats about it. :dead
Kellerman needs to go. He looks like a crack addict with his swollen lips and his eyes popping out of his head and his commentary is pretty much crap.
I always worry about pac fighting these big guys, he's nothing too prove, i'd like him too call it a day to be honest, he's one of the greatest fighters i've ever seen in the last 30 years & truly a modern day marval "PHENOM" in every sense of the word & a fantastic role model for those who wish to aspire to greater things. Forget about the mayweather fight as it'll never happen.
Kellerman does not belong on the elite stage. Something is missing when you have Kellerman in place of Merchant. Unfortunately Larry is getting old... Max is a bug-eyed freak. He tries sounding smart a lot of the times, and generally ends up making himself look like an ass.
I used to get annoyed when Lampley would go into his overdramatic theatrics and create his own dialogue of the two fighters. Now I just laugh. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT2s9LTUvaA&fmt=18[/ame]
no TRUST ME, the HBO team kills that shitty European commentators any day no matter how bad they are. I had to listen to those European commentators last night and it was ****en ****.
I'm getting over the current HBO crew... Theyre classic and all but dry as hell. Over analyzing and all contradicting each other, it doesn't do the casual fan any favours. Good comparison with Duran there, the way Manny carries himself in some flashes is reminiscent of a prime Duran.
Roy Jones was better than anybody they have as an HBO commentator now. Ray Leonard was also very good.
