Parker is actually one of the worst HW champs ever when you think about it

Watch the full fight. Even the commentary picked up on it.

    Co
Considering he beat Ruiz (while trading shots, unlike AJ who had to run to beat him) I'd say he's pretty good. Sure he's looked lackluster in his last few fights, but he's only just switched trainers. We'll hopefully see a massive improvement.

Won against Ruiz in quite controversial fashion who if everyone's honest, is quite overrated based of the AJ win

Proceeded to defend against Fury and could have lost that with different judges

Then took the distance by his sparring partner

    Then lost

He was a pretty bad champ

A lot of fights are controversial.

He didn't lose though, so what's your point?

Not sure what fight you're referring to.

Oh no! A loss!? Better retire then.

Joseph Parker's hand speed wasn't enough to trouble the shattered remains of Chisora.

Neither was Usyks apparently. Chisora is a different beast.

My point was i personally had him losing by 2 rounds

Many did and there seemed to be home town cooking going on

    No biggie it happens everywhere

And its not like i even remotely suggested he retire after a loss now is it

My point was it was a crap championship reign

Probably due to the fact he tries to fight the best he can get his hands on tbh. Even if it's in their backyard. Parker still has time to shine.

Parker is one of those guys

    A bit like David Tua

Who you can see winning his way to a belt if he would just put it all together.

I hope (unlike Tua) there is an actual light at the end of this tunnel....
