Matter of opinion
Yes it is
Usyk landed more punches on nine rounds of twelve rounds, with one bering even. Usyk wobbled Chisora in the seventh, and was never hurt himself. Scores were so close because of corruption.
How many current HWs even have a chance of troubling this guy?
Fury and Parker - who else?
Parker no longer actually throws punches so no
Parker's prime was in his early to mid twenties. He's past prime now, and doesn't have the experience to bank on as his speed diminishes.
Usyk's in his prime now and will continue to be world class for years.
No, it's not remotely likely he beats Usyk. This is as close to foregone conclusion as is possible at this level in the HW division.
Even if he beats Chisora it won't tell us much unless he looks spectacular and blows Chisora away in a couple of rounds. If he labours to another close and disputable decision then we all know the way this goes down.
He's looked lacklustre for years now. If Lee was going to make a difference we'd have seen something different in his last fight. Instead Parker looked exactly the same as he always did, boring plodding, aimless jabs, quick predictable flurries.
Don't hold your breath for any 'massive improvement'.
His speed of no punches will not trouble Usyk.
Don't forget current Tua, Mark Hunt and Junior Fa. Think they'd all be in with a tremendous shot.
You think 6 weeks is really enough to cement any real improvements?
Everytime Parker tried getting punches inside the pocket, ref jumps in and breaks instantly. I'm not going to time stamp it for you. You either see it or you don't.
If he knocks out Chisora, which I think is likely, then it tells us a lot.
