A "peak" Sugar Ray Leonard could've beaten all the challengers Leonard actually faced.

But Floyd never beats Hearns or Hagler or even Lalonde, for that matter.

PBF doesn't fight them because his priority is easy fights, not legacy. In a fictional world he probably loses to all of them. Given his only chance is punch, hug repeat, and not a KO, he's going to need his highly trained judges to have a chance.

Floyd is the product of a career long marketing campaign engaging the casuals and the deluded with the message that he was the greatest. He won all of his fights, but one of those included Conor Mcgregor, which speaks for itself.

He was a good boxer who proved nothing fighting low risk fighters as the A-side with his catch weights and judges. As with Canelo, unless you knock him out you can't win.

Floyd is more skilled than all of those you mentioned, thus he could outbox Hearns.

    There’s no irony.

    It was a question.

Nobody outboxed Hearns with technical skills.

Great fighters, with great technical skills weren’t able to do it.

Floyd wouldn’t have done it either.

It doesn’t matter if Floyd was undefeated and better than the guys who beat Hearns.

It’s simply a matter of styles.

Floyd would have had no road to victory over Thomas Hearns.

The more I debate you, the more I’m convinced that the other posters are right about you, in that you troll for amusement.

    Your statement can’t be legitimate.

I started watching boxing at 9 years old.

Yet by 11 years old, I was already past your level of thinking, where I studied how the guys all matched up on the night stylistically.

    So you must be trolling.

That’s the kind of statement that a casual fan off of social media would type.

It doesn’t matter if Floyd was a better overall boxer than those guys mentioned, as well as Hearns himself.

From a logical standpoint, he wouldn’t have been able to have outboxed Hearns for a decision win.

If you’re not trolling, then give us all a realistic hypothetical breakdown of how it would have been possible.
