Could peak Floyd Patterson have been the greatest cruiserweight ever?

    Lots of cruisers come in on fight night at 210-215. Liston was 212 pounds when he flattened Williams.

    I think that Patterson is a good example of a great fighter, who lacked the division to display his greatness.

    The cruiserweight division when it was at 190, would have been ideal for him.

    Even fighting at heavyweight, he was ranked in more end of year rankings, than any other champion in history.

    However I do not think that he was the best fighter, who could have made that weight cut over their entire career.
